Our Get Set to be a Paralympic Champion competition asks you to challenge perceptions of disabled people by telling your stories and shining a spotlight on the Paralympic Movement as a citizen journalist.
Our first winners are Market Field School who have created a multi-school council to challenge negative perceptions about people with a disability or special educational needs. The citizen journalists at Market Field School have been busy changing perceptions and showing others in their local community what they can do! Citizen journalists included Charlie who has been coaching younger pupils in sports and Beppe who has started boxing classes.
Check out Market Field Schools showcase to see what pupils have been up to.
Market Field School have won a film workshop to take place at their school which will include a visit from a Paralympic athlete. Look out for their video which will feature on Get Set soon!
The competition is now closed, but you can still explore the Paralympic Values and journalistic skills with our Paralympic Champions resources.
