We have been working closely with a number of Paralympians over a number of years. Paralympian Ian Rose (Judo) has been a regular visitor. He spent a morning with 20 EAL students not only teaching Judo but he ensured they understood the discipline/dedication required to participate in sport and the particular benefits/difficulties partially sighted judo players have. He also gave an inspirational assembly to our Y8 students (200). The EAL students are preparing to organise/run a festival in July. The festival will be for younger students from our feeder schools.
