ACTIVITY IDEA

Use the presentation to introduce students to the Paralympic movement and challenge them to become citizen journalists and find out more about the Paralympic movement. Continue to hold a class discussion and presentations with the It's About Ability Not Disability resources and ask students to create their own stories with the Power of Story Telling activity.

Encourage students to research their own figure from the Paralympic movement, or another prominent figure with an impairment.
