ACTIVITY IDEA
Use this presentation to introduce the city of Rio de Janero and the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games. This can be used to introduce an independent research task into Rio, or another host city, or to set the scene for the Rio design challenges.
The presentation is designed to be flexible. For the geography of Rio focus on slides 3–6, to find out more about how the country prepared for the Games use slides 7–16 and to see Team GB and ParalympicsGB performance at the Games take slides 17–23.
