The whole school was set the challenge of walking, running, swimming or cycling a total 10km per person. The aim was to ensure that every member of the school community could contribute to the total distance of 9,298km to Rio.

The children relished the opportunity to record their activities and it gave them a chance to realise just how active they are. The information collected will be used to celebrate individual achievements as many children went above the 10km aim as well as using in maths lessons to discover which was the most popular activity and which class made the biggest contribution.
