We're very excited to be working with local leisure centres in Liverpool and Merseyside as part of the Travel to Tokyo pilot.

These venues will be providing free activity sessions for schools and families to get active and have fun together. Each venue will also have a Travel to Tokyo activity station, where you can log activity to your team. Activity doesn't need to have happened in the venue - you can log activity you have taken part in in the park or at home. You can also take your photo at our Travel to Tokyo active photoboard!   

We currently have venues in Liverpool and Knowsley. More centres will be added as they are confirmed. 

Liverpool leisure centres 

Lifestyles venues are run by Liverpool City Council and members of our partner organisation, ukactive. Each venue has a photoboard and tablet where you can log activity. Liverpool venues are offering a free taster session to Travel to Tokyo participants. For more information on the taster session, please contact Get Set.

Knowsley leisure centres

Knowsley venues are run by Volair and members of our partner organisation, ukactive. Each venue has a photoboard and tablet where you can log activity. Knowlsey venues are offering to run 'Wake and Shake' morning sessions, active assemblies and after-school sessions for pupils and families at participating schools, together with free family passes. Knowsley will be offering activities for children and families as part of their Travel to Tokyo Junior Gym timetable.
