The Spirit of Sport in Competition resources (formerly Get Set for the Spirit of Sport) contain a mixture of open-ended, differentiated and exciting classroom and practical activity ideas designed for use with young people aged 11–14. Supporting the aims and objectives of the 2021 World Anti-Doping Code, UK Anti-Doping's 100% me principles and the Olympic and Paralympic Values, the resources discuss sporting values, effective decision making and the importance of balanced competition. Activities are brought to life by engaging case studies that challenge young people to consider their behaviour, and the behaviour of others in a competitive sport environment. As well as allowing students, and their family and friends, to explore how healthy living and active lifestyles impact health, social engagement and can be reinforced in other aspects of their lives.
