Get Set to Ace It! is a campaign that uses tennis to inspire young people to learn, build their skills and find the motivation to become more active. There are eight classroom activities with exciting ideas that will get your children and students thinking, working collaboratively and creating and sharing their ideas. There are four lessons for Key Stage 2 and four for Key Stage 3 covering English, Maths, Science PE and PSHE.

The activities require the minimum of planning and teacher preparation and all of them use the power of sport and the excitement generated by tennis and the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games to get children and students’ minds and bodies active!

Each activity includes suggestions for differentiation, ideas for extension activities and photocopiable worksheets. There are also films and photos to use and the resources also include two PowerPoint assemblies (one each for Key Stage to help introduce the overall theme).

Find out about our recent competition  and view the winning motivational speeches. You can use the presentation to encourage your own students to write a motivational speech for any event.

Watch our Everyone for tennis film to inspire your class now and show them that anyone can enjoy this game!

All of the lessons also have ideas for making the sessions active so that physical activity can be included. We hope you enjoy using them as well as the films we have included to inspire your students to try tennis.
