Get Set for Positive Energy, brought to you by Team GB, ParalympicsGB and British Gas, is a cross-curricular learning opportunity to empower young people and their communities to understand the role we can all play in saving energy and creating a greener future.
Get Set for Positive Energy seeks to inspire primary school children to use their positive energy to drive change, get active and build healthy habits.
The programme is the perfect addition to the primary school classroom, exploring key curriculum themes around sustainability, renewable energy, and young people’s health and wellbeing.

Enter the Design a Sustainable School Competition
Get Set are challenging young people aged 5-11 to design a sustainable school of the future. Use our learning resources to introduce your class to themes around renewable energy, sustainable living and ways to ensure our future is accessible to everyone.
Download our introduction assembly and use our competition pack to get your class involved and to be in with a chance to win a British Gas Positive Energy Grant. A £15,000 grant for the winning entrant's school, and a grant of £2,500 for the 4 runners up.
The grant is fully funded by British Gas and will support schools to create a greener more accessible school for everyone. Winning schools will receive expert advice from British Gas on how to make their school more energy efficient, as well as advice from ParalympicsGB on how to make it more accessible to everyone.

Young people can engage with our Design a Sustainable School Competition from home. Parents can download our competition entry pack and worksheet and support your children to enter into our compeittion. The winning entry will win a £15,000 British Gas Positive Energy Grant - to make their school more sustainable and accessible for everyone.

No all resources and elements of the Get Set for Positive Energy programme are free for schools, and home learners to access.
Who creates the Get Set for Positive Energy Resources?
All learning resources are created by education specialists and in consultation with teachers. We have done the work to create resources that teachers can use with minimum preparation to inspire and inform your pupils. British Gas have provided all the key facts and figures relating to energy.
