Teacher notes

This Fan Club Starter Kit for Secondary Schools asks students to work both independently, in groups and with their community. Students will develop the ability to work as a team and will enhance their organisational and creative skills when planning and delivering their Fan Club ideas.

Support: Suggest that students plan out small activities that they want to deliver at a school sports day or event. Practising in the classroom in small groups will boost their confidence and allow them to make any necessary tweaks to their ideas!

Challenge: Task students with creating a range of engaging content to showcase their Fan Club to the wider school community, whether it’s through social media, posters or an article in a newsletter.
