Did you know?
Athens is the home of the modern Olympic Games. These took place in 1896 and involved 280 athletes from 13 countries taking part in 43 events. The sports included boxing, weightlifting, athletics, equestrian and fencing.
A message from Beth Munro
Beth is a taekwondo athlete for ParalympicsGB. She won a Silver medal at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games and is ParalympicsGB’s very first medallist in taekwondo. Listen to Beth’s message to find out what you will be doing on your virtual journey to Paris.
