ACTIVITY IDEA

Path to Paris is the official youth engagement programme for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

An amazing way for young people to get active and embark on a virtual journey all around the world. The gamified journey is full of surprise challenges, messages from our Team GB and ParalympicsGB athletes and opportunities to win loads of prizes. Find out more.

Use the SEND Skills Builder activity guides (Travel, Balance and Control) to get active with your pupils whatever their ability.

The Celebrate Your Ability activity sheets allow students to take ownership and pride in their abilities as they acknowledge their own achievements and progression. Use the Active Me activity sheet to celebrate what things they can already do, this is a great starter activity. As you complete each of the SEND Skills Builder activity guides pupils can log their progress using the I Discovered activity sheet.

The SEND Inclusive Tips provides teachers and community group leaders with the information and confidence to support all young people to get active.

Use this pack alongside the Build your Skills resources to support young people with any special educational needs or disabilities to active with their peers, at school, at home or in a community group setting.
